The midwifery model of care is centered around the belief that pregnancy and birth are both innate processes that occur with out need for intervention. Midwives believe that the changes to a woman during pregnancy are normal and not part of a disease process. Birth is viewed as sacred and not a medical experience.

The word midwife means “to be with woman”. This is the core of our profession. As one’s healthcare provider during pregnancy, I strive to educate and empower my clients.

Our clinic offers complete maternity care including prenatal visits, birth and postpartum.

Dr. Christina attends births at home and at birth centers in the Seattle area. Currently she has priviledges at Puget Sound Birth Center and Community Birth and Family Center.
